This project was completed in October 2021 by The London Decking Company.
Our customer asked us to replace a two-tiered decking area with steps, which was constructed from a previous hardwood. Our experienced team carefully removed and disposed of the previous decking and framework. LDC installed Yellow Balau Hardwood decking and used a treated softwood frame, with the added protection of decking tape. This will ensure this deck will last for as long as possible in this tranquil enclosed garden.
The Yellow Balau Hardwood Decking was a perfect decision for this garden with its warm tones against the dark painted brick wall, which really has opened and brightened the various areas of this space. While installing one of the tiers we were met with navigating around the owner’s walk-on roof lights to create a seamless level decked area. We also replaced the tired looking seating area with custom planters which now makes the perfect space to socialize in after a stressful working day in Central London.
