Roof Terrace Decking - Buckingham Place, London
Installation of new suspended frame and 50m2 IPE hardwood decking.
We were commissioned to install a new roof terrace deck by Mr & Mrs Williams of Buckingham Place, SW1.
The project involved the removal of the old rotten soft wood deck and frame, the clearing of all the old debris across the roof and the installation of the new pre-treated frame and ipe decking.
With access limited through the house the 6 floor terrace wasn’t the easiest of projects to get all the materials onto site.
The new frame was installed on plastic pedestals to ensure no future water damage and prolonged life of the deck.
The Ipe decking boards were installed across the terrace with lots of complicated cutting and shaping to match the roof template. One outside section required our staff to be harnessed to the building for added safety.
The completed project was a high end finish with top quality materials leaving Mr & Mrs Williams extremely happy with the project.
