Pergola, Softwood Decking & Bespoke Balustrade - Neasden, London
This project was completed in October 2020 by The London Decking Company and it involved the installation of Canterbury Smooth Softwood Decking to a residential property in Neasden in North London. This was a complicated project which included a bespoke balustrade and pergola.
Our team started this project with removing and disposing of the well-used decking and balustrade. The team replaced the wooden frame with softwood and added deck tape to ensure this softwood frame will last for 25 years! While building the frame the team added detail of a pergola. Which will give that much needed shade in the summer months.
Once the framework and pergola were completed, the team laid the canterbury decking for a modern twist on the softwood deck. Our experienced team then cut treated 4x2 to replicate the bespoke design previously installed around the existing decking as a balustrade. It finishes this area off nicely. Our team enjoyed this challenge.
