Outdoor Kitchen - Oxted, Surrey

This project was completed in March 2021 by The London Decking Company. This creative outdoor kitchen was made from Cedar timber which was used to create the screening and fascia. This bespoke crafted outdoor kitchen was created to fulfill our customers brief. Our customer wanted to achieve a high-end outdoor kitchen with plenty of storage. While creating this bespoke kitchen we were asked to include a dusk grey porcelain worktop, a fabulous butler sink, a built in Webber & Big Green Egg BBQs, a pizza oven and a log store.

To begin this project, we started by constructing the screening which is behind the kitchen area. This really defines the kitchen area. We used cedar battens to create this sleek contemporary division.

Once the screening was completed, we began constructing the framework using treated timber ensuring all the additional items would fit snuggly in their new location. Treated timber was used to create the front and side paneling. This was painted black to create a nice contrast between the cedar’s natural warm tones and the black. Finishing the kitchen with a wider cedar timber to the front and sides of the units and of course the gorgeous dusk grey porcelain worktop.

This is going to be a fantastic entertaining space, which will provide many happy years with family and friends’.
