Hardwood Project - Woodford, Essex
This project was completed in August 2020 by The London Decking Company. We were asked to replace the current hardwood deck with IPE Hardwood and used a composite frame to ensure this deck last for as long as possible in this beautifully inspiring garden. This was not a straightforward installation as the garden was on different levels with ponds and lighting to navigate.
Our experienced team carefully removed and disposed of the previous decking and framework. We began by laying landscaping membrane where possible and then moved on to constructing the PlasPro composite frame which sat on 100x100mm composite posts which were secured with postcrete.
The IPE Hardwood Decking was a perfect decision for this garden with its deep warm tones, which really have a big impact against the lush greenery. The decking was secured to the composite frame creating a striking path. The lighting was added to create depth within the different path levels. We especially liked the path over the ponds in this tranquil garden.
