Hardwood Decking - Richmond
Having recently completed interior building works and an extension to the property this client wanted a top-quality deck built to provide a new outside area for the house.
This deck was constructed using Ipe 22 x 145mm smooth decking boards. The project involved building 2 sets of stairs to allow access from the customer new bi-fold doors down onto the decking and a second step down onto the lawn area.
The deck was designed with a 45* angle in the corner as to not take up to much of the lawn area. All angles were mitred and finished precisely to create a smooth flow around the outside of the decking. Extra long 5m boards were used for the main decking with a picture frame finish.
Stainless Steel Antique finish screws were used to get a colour match with the timber meaning the screws can’t be seen.
LED deck lights were installed by our qualified electrician to illuminate the decking, allowing the customer to enjoy their new outside area at any time of day.
