We stripped away the old rotten deck, joists and shingle and installed two new decking areas and a new patio.
The customer on this project had recently purchased the property in Notting Hill along with the old deck and tired looking garden.
We stripped away the old rotten deck, joists and shingle and installed 2 new decking areas and a new patio.
The 2 main decks were constructed using Yellow Balau hardwood decking boards with a small area of composite decking being installed in a very dark wet corner which had previously been a problem area. 2 sets of steps were built for access down to the new patio; one set of steps was constructed with a curved edge to create a different look to the 2 decks.
The patio area was laid using tumbled mint sandstone slabs laid in a random pattern.
The final outcome was a new, fresh tidy looking, low maintenance terrace and garden area.
