Hardwood Decking - Dorking

This project involved turning a steep slope of a front garden into a usable outside area. With challenging uphill access all materials had to be carried up the steps to the site. This new 2 terraced deck created a great outdoor extension to the property for the owners to enjoy.

• Yellow Balau Hardwood Decking 22 x145mm Smooth Finish
• Sepele Hardwood Balustrade and Posts
• Redwood Landscape Batten
• Sawn Timber Sleepers (Treated)

With challenging uphill access all materials had to be carried up the steps to the site.

This new 2 terraced deck created a great outdoor extension to the property for the owners to enjoy.

The client wanted to incorporate the existing magnolia tree so 2 retaining sleeper beds were built to create a feature in the middle of the deck which also allowed for a smooth transition between the 2 areas.

A framed out sepele balustrade was used to match the balau decking and create a safe environment.

Redwood landscape batten was used along the boundary wall to create some privacy for both the client and their neighbours.

With great views overlooking the valley this project really enhanced the property and was a great success
