Bespoke Screening & Millboard Decking - Shepherds Bush, London

This project was completed in August 2021 by The London Decking Company. The project involved the installation of Millboard Decking with bespoke cedar screening with lights to a roof terrace in Shepherd Bush, London.

This project was designed by the customer, who knew exactly how they wanted their terrace to look. Working closely with the customer we created a tranquil space which will be enjoyed for many years to come.

Our experienced team installed a Millboard PlasPro Composite frame, which the Millboard Decking boards were attached too. On this project we used Millboard Enhanced Grain in Coppered Oak. This choice of decking really compliments the natural warm tones of the cedar screening.

Once all the decking was completed the real fun began. Our experience team began installing the bespoke cedar, vertical screening with 10mm spacing. The battens were used so only the smallest side was showing, which gave a very dramatic look to the screening whilst remaining striking and contemporary. Our team installed a concealed door. The screening was continued to conceal an air conditioning unit, which completed the look our customer wanted to achieve. The screening was finished with lighting placed under the top rail creating the perfect evening ambience.

This tranquil space also includes a sunken stone water feature creating a new ‘zen’ like garden. Which provides the perfect relaxation space after a busy day.
