We have been supplying timber decking to Havering and the surrounding areas, including London and the south-east of England, for the past 17 years. Since we established in 1997, we have dedicated our time to perfecting the art of designing and building hard and softwood timber decking, so you can rest assured that you are putting your project in the right hands.
Here at the London Decking Company, we focus on providing and installing the most suitable timber decking for your outside space ,be it domestic or commercial. We create plans that suit your surroundings, preferences and budget, making sure that you are 100% happy with everything before we carry out any work.
What ever type of timber decking you decide to go for, it will add a warm and natural feeling to your garden. Softwood timber decking comes in four main profiles, with all of our pretreated wood being sourced and manufactured from sustainable and certified trees. Softwood tends to be cheaper than hardwood timber decking because it is sourced for fast growing coniferous trees. One aspect of softwood to bare in mind is that it will need sealing on an annual basis to protect it from the elements. For this you can use teak oil or an alternative sealant.
The alternative is tropical hardwood, which we mainly source from Africa, Asia and South America. The types of tree we work with are Ipe, Balau, Iroko and Garrapa decking. They are hard wearing and have a natural honey-brown colour.
